Underrated Video Games - WWE Raw 2

In 2002, There was a game known as WWE Raw(or WWF Raw is War as it formally called). The game did not live up well as seeing how well the graphic was, The gameplay was painful to play, The animation look poorly done and there was not things to try out, As the game look like it was over rushed into making. This one promise to be a upgrade with some more feature, newer graphic and whole new modes. But doe this game fully overpower the last game?

Gameplay: The gameplay is what you think of any wrestling game, Making sure you pin your opponent or put him into a submission to win. However it did change. Most noticeably the control. There not much to talk about but from what I heard, While the last game have stiff controls, This one does play well but hold some flaws, Mainly replacing the block(which was bad) with dodging, Which feel hard to do seeing how it base on timing. The other problem are the A.I, Their unforgiving sometime as they mostly try to pin you with everything.

Story: It WWE, Does it really need a story to say?

Character: The Roster of Wrestler does have a good way of adding characters, Including Goldberg, Ray Mysterio, John Cena, Kane, The Undertaker and many others. And their appearance does look well. (Thou Ray Mask does look plasticy).

Gamemodes: There are some extra modes added in that the last game didn't include. This does mean there more matches then before.

Season Mode: Season Mode is one of the all new feature that appear in the game, This include some new stuff such as adding a manager, set any wrestlers, form alliance and many more.

Animation: Boy, I never thought I would talk about Animation. But it does need to be address. The animation in the last game was very rushed and look silly in all honesty. This game did improve thou not much. Yeah the move does look almost like real move but sometime look abit sloppy, Even with the clipping that make your part goes through the ring. It not the most annoying thing but you gonna see alot of it.

Bonus(Create a Superstar): Even in an older system like the Xbox, The Creation that the game gives is amazing to work with, Giving it a new feel to creating a star or editing one, From the Appearance, To How  the character fight, Weather he's Face or Heels, A Custom Entrance. It might be that new now but back then, It was something.

Result: While it not as good as Smackdown game was, It did deliver and was trying well. It not the perfect game but it one of Raw better games, Even comparing to WWF Raw is War that was a huge let down. This game is worth playing. Even with some flaws, It still hold up well.

Favorite Part: Anything with Creative Mode is always what I enjoyed about the game.
