Underrated Video Games - Twisted Metal Head-On

Now to start the Final 5 Underrated VG Review with something from the most Bloodiest Derby Series in the Playstation Universe. Twisted Metal is well known to be the most gruesome and disturbing series, Mainly for it story center around in each of the character in each games that mostly(like 85% of the characters) involve someone who lost their mind and is completely insane or blood hungry. But even for a series that can give people some nightmares, It manage to hold it fair share of Good Games like TM2, Black and TM2012 and Some Bad Games like TM3, TM4 and Small Brawl(You know, For Kids?). And only a few of these games hit the line of Underrated. The biggest hidden gem being the 2005/2008(It was that late to get on the PS2) game known as Head On, Which while hold the classic TM Formula in gaming with the inclusion of something new.

Gameplay: The gameplay is pretty simple like all Twisted Metal games. All you have to do is find someone and Make sure they don't come out alive. Like Undertale, It KILL or BE KILLED. You got to use Every Weapon in hope of Killing Everyone in the Arena and making sure their burning flesh suffer.

Story: The Story is much like what you expect from Twisted Metal History as it center around the most blood hungry killers or heroes who want to wish for something, Either for Chaos or Freedom or anything else. That is till the Powerful Man by the name "Calypso" created the Twisted Metal Tournament where people use the vehicle of their choice to tear through the city and to kill anyone and anything in their path to win the prize: One Wish from Calypso, All without knowing the ironic misfire to turn a simple wish into a hellish nightmare.

Character:  There are a total of 18 Characters to play as, All have different stats and ending. Thou only 17 can be used for most story as only one of them is used for a challenge known as the Tooth Tower Challenge. Alot of more noticble drivers(Atlest 10) make their return for either achiving their goals or putting a new way of Twisted Metal.

Weapons: There so many special powers that can be used, Including Rockets, Fire, Lightning and everyone favorites Special Attacks. There not much to say on this one.

Vehicle: As I said it before, There are 18 Velicle, 1 for each characters. Some might be Strong yet slow, Some might be Fast yet weak. It all about which car, truck or even Towers are the best one.

Map: There alot of fun maps base on the city, From the Big Blue Stadium in the beginning of Story to Tokyo Japan in the end, Including an extra Transylvania level(That only for PS2).

Bonus(Lost and Sweet Tour): There are two extra modes to try out as well. Lost is basicly Twisted Metal Black with some things left out, Including some Unseen Levels, 12-Pak who is a car driven by a Headless Driver and if you beat the game in Hard mode, You'll unlock Gold Sweet Tooth, Which is much like the normal one with Better Armor, Strength and a Golden Cover. And Sweet Tour is something else. This is where you play as Needle Kane as you go around an Asylem to find secrets of some of the drivers and vehicles.

Result: Having all the things that make the Twisted Metal so lovable, With graphic and gameplay so fun to watch. Twisted Metal Head-On will be a classic that deserve to be known by many TM Fans.

Favorite Part: The Ending to Shadow in Story Mode.
