Underrated Video Games - Ape Escape 3

This is an example of my new Review Segment after the debate to end the Animation Atrocity. 1001 Video Games by thou I no longer feel interested in his Atrocity at this point.

Gameplay: The gameplay is much like the first two game where you must use the Analog Stick to use your weapon and tools to attack enemy while making sure you use your net to catch the limited number of monkey in each level. All with a brand new feature of using a morph-gauge to turn into a more powerful type of character to help get through obstacles. Each Monkey have their own set of difficulty and even the rare ones(though Cheat Code) can be quite a challenge to catch if not careful.

Story: The Story is about Specter and his new partner "Dr. Tomoki" who now token over the world through the power of making a brainwashing tv network to turn everyone into couch-potato, Making even Spike, Jimmy and the Professor under Specter control. Because of this, It up to Kei, A Sportman Kid and Yumi, The Pop Singer(Who can stun some Fan-Monkey to make it even more easier) to stop Specter and his evil plans, Along with stopping the Freaky Monkey Five.

Character: The Characters is really great in term of their role. Kei and Yumi control quite well as Spike did in the first game and have some really great design, Even in form of what ever their morph into. Specter plan sound silly until you see his real plan near the end which, I won't give away. Even the Freaky Monkey Five were quite a challenging boss and still likable character, Including Monkey Pink who remind me of a monkey version of Mileena from Mortal Kombat. I say the Characters are quite well.....alittle cheep to some(Monkey Red) but still likable.

Weapons: Minus the over-powered boxing glove, You get you basic set of tools to help you out in stopping robotic enemies and capturing each of the monkey, Which include the RC Car for small area, Sky Flyer to quick air, The WaterJet to help swim and everyone favorite: The Stun Club to help stun the monkey and the Monkey Net to catch them.

Vehicle: In some levels you get to ride around a vehicle to mostly help get through some part of the level. In some level, You'll race a car to bump Monkey Driver off their track, In other levels, You'll ride a Giant Robot to break through wall and fight another monkey in another robotic suit. The Possibility are endless and be funny to ride these things while you in a morph.

Map: Like the monkeys, Each level will have their own set of difficulty and obstacle which, For the most time, Get harder the further you go, As well as some boss level. Even if their hard or atleast to some time, A tad frustrating, Their still great to see with wonderful concept and some very nice music to fit the theme. The Best level in my book is the sky part of the Eversummer Mountain level since it look wonderful and the music is quite perfect since it sound like it was from a level of the First Game, Which bring back some Nostalgia Feeling.

Bonus(Morphing): Around the 3rd Level, You get the ability to turn into something through a watch that give you morphing ability to turn you into either a Knight, Cowboy/girl, Ninja, Genie Dancer or even a Kung Fu Fighter, Each come in handy to taking out each random obsticle just as the Knight Shield to block off attack, Ninja ability to run on walls and glide down to far reach and even using the Genie Daner.....Genie, To dance to stun monkey and enemies, making it a whole lot easier for catching and attacking.

Result: This one was a real gem around my time since it feel like a upgrade from the first game as the control the gameplay the same thou There manage to give a new story and some new stuff, Even in their minigames where you play a Metal Gear Solid Parody. All in all, This one is one of my favorite that I wish people enjoy more instead of making tied up picture of Yumi. (I'm watching you guys.)

Favorite Part: The really fun part is that in each of the level(Minus Boss Level) will include a Camera to film the monkey in the theater at your starting place in the store area where you can watch the random event goes on. After getting enough films, You will be able to create your own film for the amusement of calling the film yours. It better to make a movie about monkeys then spend most of your time catching them.
